Wills
– Wills
A Will is a legal document which signifies the final wishes of a deceased person, i.e. to whom property should be given, and how it should be distributed after his/her death. A Personal Representative is a person who takes on the responsibility to administer the distribution of the property.
When a person dies without a Will (known as passing intestate), the deceased person no longer has a voice in the passing of his/her property. For this reason, we suggest a Will as a necessity for every individual.
Part of estate planning includes having certain documents in place to ensure that your loved ones will be able to make decisions for you, should you become unable. We provide the following documents as part of our estate planning paperwork: Health Care Surrogate, Durable Power of Attorney, and a Living Will. Call us today to discuss your estate planning needs.
